Corn germ press is used for pressing corn germ oil. The technology, equipment and operation technology of corn germ oil production are basically the same as that of other oils. It must be cleaned、 dried、 softened、 rolled、 steamed、 fried、 extracted and refined.

1. Cleaning up: Corn germ recovered from making corn dumplings is mixed with more corn flour, crumbs and crumbs. It needs to be screened by double-layer vibrating screen.
2. Drying: In order to maintain the freshness of maize germ during storage and transportation, the cleaned maize germ should be immediately dried to less than 10% moisture content.
3. Softening: The first step in making grease from corn germ. In this process, the moisture content of maize germ was reduced to less than 10% when it was heat treated, and the material embryo was changed plastically. Hot air dryer or hot steam roller dryer are commonly used for softening.
4. Embryo Rolling: After softening treatment, maize germ is rolled into 0.3-0.4 mm thin sheets by roller mill, which can destroy cell structure, shorten oil path and facilitate the steaming and pressing of embryos.
5. Steaming: When the embryo is steamed in the steaming equipment, the moisture content is not less than 12%. After heating, the temperature of the embryo exceeds 100 C, and the moisture content of the embryo reaches 3%-4%.
6. Pressing: The oil press has both steaming and frying, continuous operation, simple operation, and the steaming and frying of embryos and oil pressing are completed in one set of equipment.
